Solusiindustri – Uji kekerasan merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menetapkan kualitas mutu material yang digunakan dalam industri. Standar pengujian ini mengacu pada ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials).
Pada ASTM terdapat nomor-nomor yang disesuaikan dengan metode uji kekerasan yaitu Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers. Nantinya nilai pada ASTM ini akan diukur menggunakan alat bantu yang disebut Hardness Tester.
